Leah Burke is a Fibre Artist and the Founder of Artisanal & Co who also promotes, styles and sells the works of other Textile Artisans. While honouring tradition and innovating design, Artisanal & Co curate textiles for the discerning buyer who appreciates quality craftsmanship over mass production. Art, homewares, gifts, apparel for adults, children and infants.
Leah lives off grid, nestled in eucalypt forest just outside of Cygnet. It’s an area celebrated for its eco-friendly, diverse community and thriving creative arts.
Handwoven, crocheted and sewn textiles are her personal focus and are represented in homewares and apparel. Her commissioned art installations also utilise woodwork and creative crafts and the use of a multitude of mediums. Leah is a Member of The Spindle Tree (a Tasmanian Fibre Arts Co-operative) at the Salamanca Arts Centre, and of the Hand Dyers, Spinners and Weavers Guild.

A 200m winding dirt road leads to the studio. The circular driveway allows visitors to disembark in front of the studio.
Access is via a large, wheelchair friendly, timber ramp which leads to the front door. Electric fences keep pets contained. Feel free to park anywhere that still allows the circular driveway to be utilised.
